Thinking about getting a Muntons Smugler Special Ale on the go and wondered about adding brew enhancer instead of sugar. I have noticed that some kits can turn out a little "thin" and thought a bit more body and feel might be helped by the brew enhancer rather than simple sugar. Has anyone done this kit with a brew enhancer? Any marked improvement? Any recommendation on which brew enhancer to use?

Chances are that the included yeast will ferment the enhancer out too without issue, but if it stalls too high then a higher alcohol tolerant yeast may be required.
One thing you might consider - add most of the enhancer, but just keep a bit back and use it to prime your bottles/barrel too
