Have just bottled in litre pet bottles.
When I started the kit, I mixed it all up and took the SG. It was a bit on the low side, so I added some sugar! Thankfully not too much before I realised it can take a while for all the sugars to absorb and a true SG given.
Anyway, big shifts and little ones the wine fermented for 8 days and had an FG og 995
I stabilized, added the finings and left for a day. Then racked into clear gallon drums, added some kwik clear and left for another 24 hours.
I bottled this afternoon and had a swift sip. Amazingly it's fairly palatable - amazing given that it's just finished fermenting, so I am hopeful given a bit longer, it will improve further.
Not expecting any gold medal winners but at £1.66 a litre, I think it will make a very reasonable every day sort of wine.
Will update as it matures! If indeed it gets chance

and the proof of the pudding............
This is straight from the fridge, it's as clear as a bell and tastes pretty good
the added sugar has boosted it to 13% abv, so you know if you've had a few glasses hic.
