The float will sink when your beer enters the float. Could be a loose fit? I smear Vaseline around the transparent cylinder which you push in to make the float. I think this helps anyway! (View Post)

How much sugar are you using to prime? You should secondary ferment in my opinion especially with kits at you get more flavour, so could reduce the amount of sugar used in priming? (View Post)
