rotten egg smell

in Spirits And Liqueur Making
i have recently purchased an alcotec 5 litre spirit kit which is ready for the carbo and stabiliser to b added but i have notice a rotten egg smell coming from it does anyone know why this is and what i can do to fix it or should i just throw it out

    Welcome, the smell of sulphur does sometimes happen and is nothing to worry about, this will naturally disappear. It does happen quite often with some ciders too, and whilst it is a strange smell this is perfectly normal and will not affect the finished brew. Just carry on with your brew as normal
