York Brewery Kit - Spraymalt query when bottling/kegging

I have the yorkshireterrier kit.
I have a bag of spray malt, step 4 says add the spray malt. Step 6 transfer into bottles, or barrell and add half teaspoon of spraymalt per pint. Do i put the full bag of spraymalt to the barrel when preparing, or do i save some for the other barrell or bottles when i transfer ?

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark, the York Brewery Beer Kits consist of a can of malt extract and a 1kg bag of spraymalt. The 1kg bag of spray malt is all added at the very beginning of the fermentation process along with the malt extract. When the beer is ready to be transferred to bottles or pressure barrel more spraymalt can be added to the bottles or barrel (half a teaspoon per bottle / 85g for a barrel). If you don’t have any light spraymalt available and your beer is ready for transferring, sugar will work as a substitute.
