So I have just opening up the primary fermentation bucket to haev a look and transfer to the barrell. Opened it up and saw this.

If the brew has fouled, how noticable is the smell?
I did wonder also. That had been in 3 weeks. The liquid under seemed pretty normal, smelled and looked normal etc. I certainly didnt get any obvious vinigary smell when I opened it.
I will be a little careful with the first pint of it once I have conditioned it.
