hi neewbie here im just wondering ive done 2 of the alcotec 48 sugar wash brews they have worked just fine i was wondering as ive got a lager kit what would happen if i used the kit and replaced the yeast that came with it with the 48 hour alcotec to give it some flavour would it work or just not work.thanks for any advice in advance

We wouldn't recommend using an Alcotec turbo yeast in a beer kit, we think it would produce some bad flavours. The beer needs to be fermented with a suitable beer yeast, either the one that came with it or you could upgrade it to one such as a Danstar if preferred, but using a Turbo Yeast would just make it taste bad and would not increase the strength etc
