I've got a brew of St Peters Ruby Red Ale on the go and its been fermenting for 9 days. Is this normal? I'm using a heater so its not going slowly becuase its cold. Should I stop worring and let it do its job? SG is steady about 1.014 but the airlock keeps filling so its still fermenting.

you're doing the right thing, just let it keep going until it finishes it's initial fermentation, and check the hydrometer readings. The bubbles need to stop rising which is a sign the fermentation is complete, and with this particular brew they recommend that it would be below 1014. It's best to wait until both the bubbles have stopped and the SG is constant for a couple of days in a row. If you transfer to a keg or bottles before it has finished there will be too much pressure as it continues to ferment.
