Carbonation of a dark beer.

Hi Everybody;
I have brewed a Coopers Dark Beer,using a dark spray malt and brew enhancer 2.Smells absolutely gorgeous.Not too sure regarding carbonation.I have only brewed stout and lager,so carbonation is pretty simple,one for stout,two for lager.I don't want to under or over-carbonate.Could you please advise me on this superb smelling brew.
Many Thanks Pete.

    Hi Pete, this can be a tricky one, and does depend on personal preference too, we think many people would treat the dark beer along the same lines as many beers, around a level teaspoon per 500ml bottle or 80g for a 40 pint barrel, enough to give it some life and keep the pressure up, but not make it too flat
