Air lock/bubbler

Is it normal for froth to come up through the air lock?

    Sometimes depending on what you are brewing it can ferment very vigorously, especially if the temperature is warm. If the ferment is particularly vigorous sometimes the airlock will need to be removed until it calms down a little, then it can be popped back in as the fermentation completes which will be slower. Sometimes lowering the temperature will also slow it down too

    Thank you for your help. Just want to add, I love the smell it is giving off, and c'ant wait for my frist taste.
