Can anyone recommend a nice quality red wine looking for something in the 7-9 pound range at the supermarket..there doesn't seem to be to many product reviews on the product pages.. Thanks
Wines tend to be you get what you pay for when it comes to the quality of the grape juice, many are blended grapes or fruit juices and the cheaper ones can be bulked out with sugars etc, or need sugar adding. If wanting a very good quality wine then there are a couple of options we would suggest but it usually comes down to budget, Beaverdale has a good selection of reds but is not pure grape juice, they are very popular and make some good wines though;
A new range that uses pure grape juice and is also country specific for most of them is the Sadlers Reserve range, they are very well received and of a very high quality, also at some very good prices, the quality matches some of the really expensive kits;
The most popular higher end kits are the likes of Kenridge, available in 2 ranges of Classic and Showcase, with the Showcase you get a lot of juice and they have some loyal followers;
If you've not yet tried them and they are in your budget, we would suggest taking a look at the Sadlers Reserve range as a mid range price with great results
