Hi all, Just to say hi, fairly new to home brew but embracing it with open arms ! I have tried the Coopers Real ale (quick and easy) in fact ordered more as the father in law quite likes it! Woodforde wherry, Very nice but I had the open end of my little bottle turned down so it sucked up loads of yeast when bottling so loose 2- 3 inches per bottle due to sediment (put that down to experience). about to bottle some Cellar 7 Pinot. smells like cider at the moment but just clearing. will bottle it and Keep the wife away for a couple of weeks see how that goes. -

Welcome! just a thought with the sediment, try and keep the bottles undisturbed before opening, then once opened try to pour in one smooth, steady action, this way it minimises mixing up any sediment as opposed to pouring a bit then stopping and starting. If you haven't tried that it should help to minimise it. The sediment getting in wont look great but shouldn't harm your brew
