Homebrew cider

Hi guys Recently bought Bulldog Brews Mixed Berries Flavoured Cider Now bottled it.....after the horrid smell generated whilst brewing Been in the bottle for just over a week in the garage Had a quick taste and wouldn't say it tastes anything like mixed berry cider that I'm used to. Does it improve by leaving it longer? If so how long? Cheers

As you say many of the ciders do produce that strange smell, but don't worry it is just part of the fermentation and will go naturally. After a week it will probably still not be carbonated and will not have developed it's flavour, this is nothing to be concerned about and if you leave it somewhere away from UV light it will really begin to develop it's flavours, we suggest a minimum of a good few weeks in the bottles, or as long as possible and it will really improve as it conditions. This is when the full flavours will develop, the Bulldog range receives excellent feedback too

Tastes very yeasty. Think I bottled to early. Too low temp or something. But been bottled for nearly a month and hasn't got much better.
