Sterilisation in Dishwasher

As I mentioned in another thread I am using a Coopers kit with a Krausen Collar - according to their instructions this can be washed in a diswasher.  Would this be sufficient to consider it sterilised?  Also not sure if you guys would know but could not tell if this was supposed to be with or without detergent.

For the main FV and equipment used up until bottling I am planning on using bleach, I don't mind then taking the FV for a good rinse out in the shower.  For the bottles I am going to use your no-rinse sanitiser as the time taken to rinse bleach out of 40 bottles may be excessive and I am on a water meter but it is just this collar that I can not submerge easily - alternatively I could give it a wipe with the bleach solution once mixed up.

It may be that you can put it in the dishwasher but be very careful as many plastic items are not suitable as it is too warm and will damage many plastics including bottles. We always suggest cleaning everything with a suitable cleaner, VWP is ideal as a steriliser and needs rinsing off, or there is BrewSafe which is no-rinse and perfect for bottles as it takes less time to use;

Often part filling your vessel and then washing everything inside that is a good use of steriliser and water, larger items can be wiped downa nd rinsed off

I have used both those sterilisers and for me BrewSafe is the better option less worrying if you have rinsed everything correctly.....
