blackberry wine taking ages for s.g.reading to be below 1000

hi guys started some blackberry wine over 10 weeks ago using hedgerow wine kit  it is now bubbling very slowly it say in the instruction it should only take 2-3 weeks is there a way i could restart the wine fermenting or should i just wait thanks Roye

    If it is still fermenting but only slowly then you can just leave it to it, the gravity reading should keep lowering slowly until it gets as low as it will go and then remain constant. Fermentation times can really vary, especially at cooler fermentation temperatures it will take longer, if it is cooler then you could try warming up to around 20 degrees C as this may help the yeast along and speed it up a bit
