Young Lager.

Just had a youngs lager kit given to me, was wondering if I could enhance flavours in any way. I was thinking of boiling lemon zest and maybe some dry hops. Am I being stupid or is this feasible ?. Any help would be grateful. Regards, Covbaggie.

You can absolutely flavour it and tweak it to your own taste, using the lager as a base you could then experiment with flavours of your choice. Hops can be added loose as dried, or in tea bag form, then you can add other flavours such as lemon, honey is popular in some beers, herbs, etc. 

Often recipes are available on the internet as people have tried various ideas, some work well, others not so good, but we recommend experimenting to adjust brews to your taste and preference, the hop options are here;
