It is always best to use a steriliser solution to be sure they are clean and reduce the chance of any contamination. We recommend VWP as it is very effective, people have their own techniques but one option is to two thirds fill your fermenting vessel with warm water and a little VWP powder, then clean all your equipment in the vessel, including doing a few bottles at a time. Then rinse each bottle with clean water whilst another few are in the vessel for a soak. This way you only use one batch of steriliser to clean all your equipment and bottles
