Reusing wine bottles - Screw or Cork

Rather than keeping on buying new wine bottles and corks, when I buy wine from the shops with the intention of keeping the bottle to reuse, should I intentionally buy a bottle which has a cork or does it matter?  Can I reuse a bottle with a screw cap?

You can use either, as long as they can be sealed airtight. The screw cap bottles will not usually work with corks though as they are often a different size, and many people like to use corks to seal their bottles and then often fix shrink caps to them to give them that more professional look which are easily applied with a hairdryer etc;

Ive just used corks into bottles that came with screw top and they seal fine

That's great, as long as the are sealed and airtight they can now be left to condition
