Gassy wine

Hi I've just made some strawberry wine and some mixed fruit wine , Everything has been fine so far I've racked the wine off but the problem now is the bung's keep popping out of the demi's .......... Like the wine is a bit gassy , Can anyone tell me why this is and what to do ........... Thanks

If the lids are being forced off this would suggest that pressure is building up inside the bottles, this would be gases created by the wine which should now have finished. There are a couple of things to check here; 

The wine must have fully completed fermenting before bottling, some fruit wines can take a while, we recommend the use of a hydrometer to be sure it has finished fermenting as this is important. The wine then needs to be de-gassed before bottling it up, this can be done by shaking or stirring vigorously and there are several devices available which make light work of it such as this;

The addition of a stabiliser or fermentation stopper helps as it prevents fermentation after bottling, such as this;
