Help with Woodfords Wherry Brew

Hi, can any one advise me about the following. My Wherry brew is still showing signs of fermenting (bubbling through airlock, though getting slower), the instructions say to leave it in the bin for 4 - 6 days but it's now in it's 7th day ! I did a hydrometer reading today & it showed 1.008. There are also some bits of sediment floating on the top. The bin has had a permanently switched on Brewbelt heater fitted to it to maintain the temperature. Is there anything wrong or does it just need a bit more time.

There is nothing to worry about but it does need a little longer to finish fermenting. Using a heating device helps it complete quickly, and your reading is nice and low, but it is best to wait for all signs of fermentation to completely stop and a a constant hydrometer reading before moving onto bottling or barrelling
