Very Cloudy Lager.

Hi, I am on my first venture into home brew. I am currently brewing a Coopers Canadian Blonde Beer Kit, using Brew Enhancer 2. Its has been three days now and the brew is very cloudy. Today, hopefully I will take the collar off if the foam disappears. It has been brewing at a temp of 22 degrees constant. Should I be worried about the apperance of it, or will it clear up. Thanks.

Nothing to worry about at this stage it will be cloudy, and will not clear properly until it is bottled or put in a barrel. This is when the beer will clear and the flavours will fully develop

Just bottled it today. OG was 1037 and FG was 1007. Just primed with 1 carbonation drop for 500ml, roll on 2-3 weeks to sample my reward.

Just a word of advise, 2 weeks is probably a bit optimistic for the Canadian blonde. Try it after 3 but will definitely be better after 5 or 6. Happy brewing (and drinking)!!!

That long ( . How long would you say for an Coopers Lager Beer Kit, I am putting that on the go tomorrow.

Just noticed on my Mexican cerveza it says 12 weeks!

With many of these brews they will be OK to drink after at least a couple of weeks, except the European which is a long conditioning time, but allow as many weeks as possible for the full flavours and carbonation to develop, the flavours are so much better. Ideally brew them as far ahead as possible so they can be left in a cool dark place, it's worth it if you can wait....

When I did the coopers lager it tasted right after about 4 or 5 weeks in the bootles. Now it has been bottled for around 10 weeks and it is amazing!
