Muntons Autumn Blush, Yeast taste

honeypothoneypot Member Posts: 4
Second fermentation being going for 2 weeks now, just tasted it and it's got a yeasty flavour to it.
Has it gone wrong?

Thanks in advance

In these early stages the flavours can be unusual, there is no reason to think this is a problem, we've made that here and it is very good, we recommend making sure it has finished and bottle or barrel it for a good few weeks to allow it to condition and for the flavours to develop

A yeasty flavour can be a bugbear of home brewed beers, If it doesn't disappear you could try upgrading next time to a superior yeast such as a Nottingham yeast (from HBO) or a Safale or Wyeast.
