This is to save me trawling through all the past posts. After bottling and left for a few days instructions and advise say "move to a cooler place to improve and clear" What is the reccomended "cooler temperature".? Outside of the house I only have a garden shed,is this too cold.?

The manufacturers are vague on this, 12 to 14 degrees is usually fine, but often people put it in a garage or shed, so it will get much colder. It is important not to let it freeze. The cooler temperature just helps it to clear, it's not critical even if it stays at a cooler room temperature

Would it be wise to move the barrel into a warmer place?

It is best not to let it risk freezing, if you had somewhere a bit warmer such as under the stairs that would be fine, and ideally in the dark or away from direct sunlight (if there is any!)
