big boo boo

I have just done a brew and forgot to put the fermenting sugars into till after i had added the yeast, my daughter was distracting me at the time. i put the sugars in and stirred till it disolved. so have i ruined the brew or not is what i want to know please.

    i havent been brewing to long,but to be honest i doubt youve done 2 much harm.all the ingredients are in there and some brews need the yeast to be mixed in anyway. youll soon see in the first 24hrs

    Agreed, it may be the wrong order but the yeast was added at around the right temperature, the sugars will take longer to dissolve and this may slow the fermentation starting off, but it will more than likely get going and you can then continue in the usual way - more than likely no harm done, if you keep it nice and warm at least 20 degrees, you will probably see some fermentation in the next 24 hours or so
