Hi,I've been given a gift of a Cooper's Wheat Beer kit which includes a 25L fermentation vessel and I am keen to purchase a Heat Tray to maintain a consistent temperature. As the vessel is approx 30cm when measured across the bottom feet can you please advise if the heat tray which you advertise would be ok for this.
Also,as there are 45 x 50cl bottles provided, can you please advise if it would require 2 carbonation drops per bottle for wheat beer as there are only 80 in the pack provided.

The heater trays are best used with a vessel not exceeding 28cm, although a 30cm vessel would sit on it, the heat would not transfer as efficiently though due to some small moulded upstands. It is ideal for our 25 litre fermenting vessels such as these;

Depending on the base of your vessel, if it is not flat, then a Brew Belt may be an option for heating the vessel, it wraps around the outside;

Often with beers people use only one per 500ml bottle as this will get secondary fermentation going, but not make it too fizzy, with lagers and ciders often people opt to use 2 per 500ml for that extra carbonation. You could maybe use 2 in a few of the bottles so you can see the difference and have a guide for future brews
