Strong brew

When using John Bull cider concentrate to make the stronger brew, more sugar, less water. What should be the final hydrometer reading before bottling and should more time be allowed in first fermentation than the 4 - 8 days for normal strength ??

Thanks in anticipation

With kits where they don't give a hydrometer reading the best thing to so is to ferment at ideally the recommended temperature or somewhere near for the minimum 4 days, then start taking hydro readings 24 hours apart, and check until you have the same constant reading for two days in a row. When you have, and all signs of small bubbles rising through the liquid to the surface have stopped, it is then ready to bottle. In cooler temperatures it will take longer to ferment, if in doubt leave it another day or so to be sure it has finished
