Would you use the Brew Belt from the fermentation bucket around a plastic barrell for the first few days of secondary fermentation during this cold spell whilst there is no heat in the house during the working day.

Would you use the Brew Belt from the fermentation bucket around a plastic barrel for the first few days of secondary fermentation during this cold weather whilst there is no heating on in the house during the working.(sorry can't leave heating on all day just for homebrew)
Yes, that is a good way of getting the secondary fermentation going quickly, just use the Brew Belt wrapped around the barrel and monitor the temperature in the same way as usual if wanted. The same with heater trays, the barrel just stands on them too
