Screw cap bottles?

Here's a question ladies and gents!

In an effort to keep the other, some may say better, half happy, I was thinking of getting a wine kit on the go.

My question is whether I would be able to cork bottles which started out as screw cap ones? I have a lot of access to these as I work in the hotel business and it would be a great way to keep costs down.
