Plastic 2Ltr bottles

Hi,New to this,is it possible to use 2Lts PET(water) bottles for wine storage? Don't expect to keep it for more than a couple of months?

You can use any bottles as long as they are suitable for drinks, as long as they make an airtight seal. If the bottles are clear we recommend keeping them in the dark or away from sunlight etc. Traditionally people have preferred glass, but many are now using PET plastic as it is usually cheaper and has no risk of broken glass
