Fermenting a lager kit

I intend shortly to brew an Ultimate Brewery Classics' German Pilsner available from HBO and wondered whether the supplied yeast is a top- or bottom-fermenting yeast. I want to take advantage of the lower temperature in our conservatory before the weather starts to warm up. Of course I could always buy an additional lager yeast just in case but would prefer not to.

    The manufacturers comments are here for you;

    We use the same premium genuine brewers yeast in all the kits. It is very fast starting, very forgiving on temp although the ideal is 18 - 24 oC with high floculation. It is top fermenting but for the lager styles will ferment them out very well indeed and when you couple this with the purity of the pilsner malts you get a very low final gravity for a cracking true lager taste without the need for lagering.
