hi everybody im just about to bottle my woodfordes admirals reserve and it says to put half a tea spoon sugar per bottle do i put that straight in to the bottle or desolve it and put in brew first then bottle brew
If you mix sugar in with the brew first it would mean stirring up all the sediment that has settled, which you don't want. It is best to add the sugar to each bottle and fill them up. Sometimes people transfer to a second fermenting vessel so it is away from the sediment, then mix in the sugar and then bottle from there with the sugar already added
