I recently was given a Woodforde's Nelsons Revenge kit which I recently brewed. All went well with the brewing but after putting in barrel have been unable to get the brew to clear ........any advice please.
Depending on how long it has been in the barrel it may just need more time. It can take a few weeks for the brew to carbonate and clear, this can be increased by the temperature it is being stored at too. It is just a case of waiting now, and it will clear and carbonate, and this is also when the proper flavours fully develop, if you can leave it for a few more weeks it can then be drank at it's best.
Although it can't be done at this stage, sometimes people like to use finings for the last couple of days of primary fermentation which helps to remove more sediment suspended within the liquid. This is often not essential and we tend not to use them, as the longer a brew is left in the barrel/bottles the better it usually tastes. Ensuring you carefully syphon and leave as much sediment behind as possible is the main thing
