It varies between different wines and on temperatures etc, but 6 days is early and it may well take a while longer to clear. It will no doubt clear with more time, and finings are availabe to help with clearing if needed, some kits come with them;
the wine is clear i can read through it i used the clearing agent suggested above but the thing still has a copper tint to it i put oak finnings in at the start as per instructions so do you think i am still ok ?

Where are you in the instructions or method?
If you dont wait for the fermantation to fully stop, it will be difficult to clear it.
