The brand new premium range of 6 home brew beer kits are due to go on sale towards the end of July 2012 from the new Festival range. Each premium kit will have everything included and hop finishing pellets to make these new kits have a great taste, as well as priming sugar. The only thing you need to add is water - nothing else! The UK is steeped in brewing history and is home to its own unique style of beer that is now imitated the world over. Along with the original powerhouses of commercial brewing there has been a recent increase in the number of fantastic micro-breweries that are now carrying the torch of creative brewing. Festival Premium Ale kits pay homage to some great beers that in our opinion are truly outstanding examples of what the UK has to offer.
With careful research, help and knowledge from professional brewers, Festival Premium Ale Kits enable you to recreate examples of some of the UK’s best loved beers, all within the comfort of your own home. Festival Premium Ale Kits use only the very highest quality liquid malt extracts (3kg per kit) and genuine brewer’s yeast strains (all individually suited to each style of beer). Festival Premium Ale Kits also contain hop pellets and priming sugar. The hop pellets are simply added halfway through fermentation infusing flavour and aroma into the finished beer resulting in a beer with more hop character than ever before. The precisely measured addition of priming sugar ensures the correct level of carbonation is achieved for each particular style of beer.
Each kit contains only the finest quality ingredients and easy to follow step-by-step instructions (Each kit makes 40 pints) making Festival Premium Ale Kits the UK’s most comprehensive and complete premium liquid malt extract beer kit ever produced!
To help with the common question 'what should my beer look like?' on the front of each Festival kit there is a picture of a pint glass representing the true and final colour of the beer. Another really useful idea is the 'tasting panel' on the front of the kit, giving a description of how the beer should look, smell and taste. There is also a hop bitterness guide with the varieties of aroma of hops used to give an idea of hop strength. For those who want to store and dispense their beer from a barrel, the pump clip design on the side of the box has been specifically made large enough to cut out and fix to your beer barrel to clearly show what you have in the barrel.

Father Hooks Best Bitter: Big malty body with wonderful orange marmalade character, the malts are perfectly balanced with hop bitterness
Landlords Finest Bitter: Classic pale ale, biscuit malt tones layered with subtle fruit character and earthy undertones. A real session ale
Old Suffolk Strong Ale: Woody character comes through with a good level of dryness and well balanced sweetness

That's good news, we find the Landlord to be quite hoppy, but it does lose some of the stong flavour after being left to condition for a while. This kit has been made to be very similar to the Pride;
