I wouldnt use it in wine myself, as i don't think it would taste very nice if you rushed it, the flavours wouldnt develope right. Plenty of people use it for cider making though to make Turbo Cider. I plan to make some soon with shop bought apple juice, bit of sugar and the turbo yeast. Here's a link to a thread in the forum to some one who's already tried it in cider.
Use a nice champagne yeast as slower for wine is better.
The Turbo yeasts are for creating a "wash" ie. if you were going to distill the fermented liquid, plus because (if) you are distilling it you will get the (clean/plain) alcohol out at the end so speed here isn't an issue.
note. distilling in most countries without a licence is illegal, so check before you do..
