I'm just in the process of brewing my first batch of wheat beer (the only drinkable continental beer ? :-)
I've been using finings after first fermentation recently, and find it helps a good deal with the clarity of the final product. Does anyone have any experience of wheat beer brewing and , given that this is supposed to be cloudy, is it worth using finings before secondary fermentation ?
I suppose it should reduce the amount of yeast deposit transfered from the fermentation vessel to the cask, but might it also effect the cloudiness of the final brew ?
