any recomendations on what kit to make a guiness like stout, im new to this so not ready to try some of the recipes ive seen, look a bit complicated. thanks

    The Coopers Irish Stout from their premium range is a very good stout, fairly straight forward, a link to it is here;

    It's a good starting point, all they recommend you need to add is a 500g of medium or dark spraymalt, and 300g of brewing sugar. There are a couple of reviews at the bottom of the page for the stout which are both positive, and we've made a batch of it here also, and it was very good and is highly recommended. You could of course just make it with brewing sugar (800g in total), but the spraymalt will improve it so is worth using if you are prepared to pay the extra couple of quid
