i was brought a complete home brew kit for christmas it contained a coopers real ale kit started the kit off on boxing day but 3 weeks on its still very cloudy even though it reads its ready for bottling on the hydrometer i added some finings yesterday hoping it would help to clear it is it worth still going a head with bottling

I would go ahead & bottle. It is normal for it still to be a bit cloudy at this stage. Keep it warm in the bottle for a week or so for secodary fermentation then put it somewhere cooler & it should clear as it conditions.

Yup I agree also, the beer will typically still cloudy at the end of primary fermentation.

thank you all for your help more helpfull than the home brew books iv brought should of signed on to home brew web site first yet again all home brews thanks now for long task of bottling
