P.E.T. Bottle tops

I was just wondering if the plastic P.E.T. tops are re-usable if the cap detaches from the bottom ring? Will the cap create a good enough seal or should I just replace the ones that have broken?

The screw caps have a 'tamper evident' ring on them, so after the first use the ring will snap off to show they have been opened, but you can then reuse the lids as they will seal perfectly again, you just can't tell if the lids have been opened before without the tamper seal. We do have new caps for when they are ready for replacing, or if you particularly need the tamper seal on them again:

Ok, thanks. I didn't want to bottle up a new brew if there was a risk of a leak.
