Hi I just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Alan I am 47 and I thought I would take up home brewing so I bought a starter kit and an extra fermentation bucket temp gauge airlock etc. I am currently brewing a simply lager kit and a newkie brown. I have a 25L keg and some 500ml PET bottles being delivered today ready for when I bottle/keg the lager and beer at the weekend. I am hoping to get sound advice from more experienced brewers as i'm very new to this. My Father used to make wine/beer but sadly I lost him last year. So thank you for letting me join and happy brewing
