Hop Pellet Breakdown

I put the hop pellets in a London porter after 5 days , I've noticed on the 6th day that the pellets have broke down but they are floating on the top .
Is this normal or should the sink down ?

    They do generally sink down after 2-3 days but you may get a residue of hop left on top.

    Nothing to worry about.
