Festival - Endeavours Pale Ale (Ltd Edition)

Second kit from Festival I have brewed and gotta say not overly impressed by this one.

It's got a bit of umph in it, maybe slightly more flavour then the St. Peters Ale kits, but its not particularly well balanced. Got a bitterness to it at the end without any kind of fruity hit to start with. Even then it not exactly a flavour punch of any real kind.

I've had worse, it's still better than your average can of mass produced supermarket lager, but some of the other kits of tried just make some truely outstanding beer which raises the bar so high, this in comparrison just really doesn't cut it.

Second kit from Festival and the first oen didn't amaze either, think I will give these a miss from now on and try others.

Oh that's disappointing to hear that the festival kits aren't so good. I've got a festival New Zealand pilsner kit lined up for my next brew once i get enough empty bottles to start.

Don't get me wrong, they are ok, it's just compared to the Young's/Bulldog brews kits they just dont compete in my opinion.
