So this one.
3 weeks in primary fermentation.
1 week in secondary at room temperature then in the garage - and its been in seconday since August the 31st, so whats that, about 6 weeks or so?
davebrew001 on the website posted a review, to quote as follows:
"up to the usual Festival standard, clear instructions and straightforward process giving a good quality, hoppy summer brew, strong too, mine finished at circa 6.5%. However for real depth of brew flavour and complex hoppy fun this lacked something.."
I gotta say I agree with him. The beer makes a nice well balanced, clear and smooth beer. It's just nothing special. I rate it above the St. Peters Ale kits which altough are easy to do, and make nice beer, I think are bland compared to others, but this still isn't a patch on the Young's American Craft Beer Brewing Kits.
The limited edition kit from Festival is up next in a few weeks.
