Have got a batch of beer in my King Keg with top tap. Pressure seems to be fine, but all i'm getting is froth! Have removed cap to make sure float is sat right, and appears to be well. Any suggestions? Andy
Hi Andy, this can happen if the pressure is quite high and is usually worst for the first bit that is drawn off, it will then settle down. Some careful pouring will allow it to settle in the glass, and after the initial froth it should reduce as the pressure reduces a little. One thing that can really help with this is an upgraded tap, the Sparkler Tap has a nozzle on it for adjusting the flow which standard barrels don't have:
