Hi all I was thinking of building a brew fridge and have a question, where do you put the temperature sensor just in the fridge or taped to the fv. Also how do you manage to move a full f2f in and out of the fridge safely
It may be easier to fit the temperature sensor to the inside of the fridge, this way it can be left there and does not need connecting to anything, and the brew in the FV will adjust to the temperature of the fridge once left in there for a while. Vessels once full of beer can be quite heavy so moving them is awkward especially if a tight fit into the fridge you are using, it may be a case of just taking great care whilst lifting in
I have had some success with the St peter ruby ale that a brewed it turned out really well and the brew fridge now works a treat while brewing beer or fermenting wine due to the constant temperature control
That's fantastic, it sounds like you have the ideal set up, and being able to keep the temperature constant will really help with your brewing, and helps it to brew at the right speed all year round
