Brewferm kits

Am thinking about trying a couple of the Brewferm kits but a little concerned about the instructions. Do I really need to use 2 fermenting vessels or can I just leave it in my coopers kit with the krausen collar until ready for bottling and add carbonation drops rather than the secondary amount of sugar as described in the instructions?

Brewferm instructions do say to use a second vessel to add the priming sugar, mixing the sugar or a sugar solution into the whole batch before bottling, which often known as batch priming. However you can do this in your usual way and there is no need to batch prime, if you prefer bottle the finished beer and then add priming drops such as Maxale or a little sugar to each bottle, or some may prefer to transfer the beer to a barrel and prime is in there as usual.

Some instructions such as Brewferm and Coopers will only say what to do with bottles, all brews can be stored in a barrel though and just need some priming sugar adding to carbonate them
