The John Bull cider is very popular, and very well priced, with plenty of repeat customers. They can lack a little flavour sometimes in the early stages, so are best left to improve a few weeks before drinking
hi. my john bulls cider is quite fizzy and a good head when poured and very very clear one litre plastic bottles there stored in are firm..so I think I've done ok so far...but the taste seems quite acidic will this flavour change upon standing.....? thanks
In the early stages brews can taste quite harsh sometimes, in most cases they will mellow nicely and the full flavours develop if left in the bottles to condition for a while longer. Ideally store in the dark or at least away from direct sunlight, and have a taste in another couple of weeks and see how the taste has developed, nearly all brews get better the longer they are left, but many are drank much earlier due to impatience!
I had tried this John bulls cider as well. Mine came out to be very yeasty still unsure why but after letting condition for a good while I have a decent cider maybe a little low on the taste front but would try again and maybe add extra apple juice or something for flavour
