Got a cider barreled and on a second fermentation.want to start another,i havent got room for another barrel iz it ok to use a fermentation bucket with a tap instead to use to drink it from
Thanks for your question, we do not recommend to do this, one the cider has finished fermenting it needs to be stored in an airtight container, and if it is a vessel is is being dispensed from such as a barrel then it needs to be pressurised to keep the air out.
If you want your cider to be fizzy then it must be in an airtight container too, either bottles or a barrel.
All brews must be airtight one fermentation is complete or they will at least go stale, or probably become contaminated
