Just a quick question. as a general guide, what weight in grain should I be using for a one gallon batch? Im looking at making a porter, but the recipe I want to follow uses extract, and I dont want to do that.
Hey, when brewing with all grain you can adjust the quantity of grain and hops to suit your liking, to begin with we suggest to find a recipe you like or at least use the recipe as a base guide. On the site Brewers Friend they have some great recipes and you can select the style and strength etc you want to brew, it will then give the list and quantity of ingredients.
