Newbie here. According to my hygrometer I am now convinced my fermentation has finished but my cider is still cloudy looking. Is there something I should add to make it clearer before bottling?
Once your cider has finished the fermentation it can still be cloudy, sometimes this will clear as it settles once transferred over into bottles/a barrel. The cloudiness can be due to both suspended sediment, and also can be caused by pectin, there are a couple of things that can help with this - we have cider clear finings that can help to clear it:
Some ciders sometimes will not clear but this wont affect the taste, just the appearance, people sometimes use finings to clear cider or even try filtering it, but this can strip some of the flavour, a general guide on cider making is here with more info if of any interest:

You can also use pectolase as this can help to remove pectin:
